Laska has been training animals with positive reinforcement since a young age. Inspired as a child, she trained her cat basic obedience and how to walk on a leash. After a while, her father agreed that she could foster and train dogs.
She has been involved with training personal assistance dogs since 2000 and got involved in pet dog training in 2003. A fun passion she has is showing her dogs in obedience competitions, agility, nose work, and therapy.”
Laska loves teaching a variety of classes but has a special passion for K9 Nose Work. Nosework is a fun and rewarding sport because dogs of all ages can participate. It gives even the most anxious dog confidence. It can give an elderly dog a renewed sense of purpose. She is currently working towards her certification in Nose Work.
She shares her life with three large dogs and two cats.
