Terry Cook started dog training as a hobby while breeding and raising Schutzhund titled German Shepherd Dogs. Prior to pursuing professional dog training he owned a landscaping company.
In 2009, Terry Cook opened a dog training franchise in Columbus, Ohio under a nationally known company, SMS Dog Training. His franchise was in the Top 3 franchises in 2011 and 2012. He also successfully grew his dog training franchise Facebook page to over 3,900 likes. In 2016, Terry sold his SMS franchise and opened his own independent dog training company in Columbus Ohio. Terry Cook has professional training in Schutzhund, Personal Protection, Narcotics and Explosives, along with being a certified dog trainer as well. Terry’s favorite part about dog training is to have the ability to educate people on how to train their dogs while increasing the canine’s quality of life.
